Yellow Butterfly
Remember of laying underneath a tree?
On the warm evenings of summer
Just wondering how would it be 
If the things were different

Remember of working till the end of the night?
And then we dropped into bed only to get up a few hours later
Remember of praying before sleep?
We use to do it with all of our feith

Remember that yellow butterfly
Cause I would never forget about it
Flying free upon us
Giving us the feith we needed

You pointed at it and said make a wish
We did know that yellow butterflies don't bring luck
But we needed to hold on something

Remember of starving?
Remember that the only hours of fun that we had were when we were together?
Remember of sleeping
With the only sure that tomorrow we would be breathing

Remember of bathing in the lakes?
Remember of being fired?
The hard days that it followed
But we survided to this

Remember that yellow butterfly
Cause I would never forget about it
Flying free upon us
Giving us the feith we needed

You pointed at it and said make a wish
We did know that yellow butterflies don't bring luck
But we needed to hold on something

Now everytime I see a butterfly
I remember of this day 
It's a permanent mark on our past
And it will be till the end of the days
